The seats in that s-cargo look like a torture device! Surely we can come up with better suggestions Oppo!

Have driven. Can confirm they are not as bad as they look.

Comment section of the FP never loads for me an y more. I don’t know if it’s a blessing or a curse but it’s very Kinja.

I agree. They were all right hand drive. Three of them are deathtraps, and the wagon while weird, won’t get noticed by normal people. To normal people it’s just ugly.
I’m struggling to come up with a suggestion though.

They want a family car <= $10k and people need to think it is the weirdest car at some high school somewhere.

I hate the Vehicross ... but it does fit their criteria .... Yeah, that’s the one.

I'd be interested in looking at it with you, if the schedule allows. It's really close to my father-in-law's house.

Wood panel Turbo Caravan with a stick then, not that a 1st gen Caravan is something you see everyday anyway.

Trust me, I know.
Too far into trying to get my van done to bring in another project right now and the wife thinks we’re good with 2 vehicles for the moment ( not that she’s wrong ).

Just TWO!?!?
She hasn’t brought it up, but I’m terrified that my wife is going to try and stop me from replacing the RallyMetro. That's what she did to me when I sold the Roadmaster. Before I sold it, she was fine with me replacing it. Once it was already gone, things changed.

For now. She doesn’t work, so we really only need one vehicle, but having the car for errands and the van for road trips is nice.

I mean that’d be cool for us but to a bunch of random people at a high school it’s just an old van.

We decided to have my wife start staying home last year as well . That’s what she used against me to not buy a Roadmaster replacement. To be fair to her, she didn’t forbid me or anything, she was just ... right ... damnit.
She does need a vehicle, because we live too close for bus service to school, but far enough away that no kindergartner should have to walk that. She actually drives more now than she did when she worked. Running one kid back and forth to school, and the other back and forth to preschool, errands, etc. When she worked, she’d drive four miles to work, where the car would just sit there all day, then she’d drive home . She was driving maybe 3k miles a year.
