I bought one of my dream cars. About 8 months later, I got into my one and only total loss accident. God I miss this thing.

That sucks. But the truck did it’s job and kept you safe.
If you had to do it over again, would you get another?

100/10 YES. 240 HP never felt so fun. However, I’m now at a stage in life where a RCSB truck would be useless what with one kiddo and another due any day now. I sold that one as a parts truck way too fast without giving myself time to think it over (I couldn’t stand looking at it wrecked in the driveway), and finding that one took almost a year of searching, so at the time I was entirely discouraged from finding another.

1st gen lighting is badass. I know they weren’t nearly as fast as the 2nd gen, but I don’t care. 1st gen has the looks and is the right size, is rarer and just has that cool factor.
Glad you’re safe though. That’s the important thing!

Totally agree. The second gen was faster and better performing in every way, but the first gen NAILED the muscle truck vibe, and with a snappy speed-density warmed-over 351w and 4.10 gears it could still turn tires into smoke and put a big dumb smile on my face. It was also the last properly loud yet good-sounding thing I had, with deleted cats (previous owner) and Magnaflow glasspacks. Mere minutes before the crash I had gone wide open in a tunnel for the first time and it was SO LOUD and such an earga sm.
