So much good stuff in there. The sheer scale of the Union Pacific 4-8-8-4 is just mind blowing.

That Morgan looks like it has seen some real use. I like it.

Yeah, I don't know much about trains, but that thing is a behemoth.

I’ve been there! Very cool museum.
No pictures of the UP Big Boy? That was my favorite thing there, I still have difficulty comprehending the size of that thing.

I grew up in Denver, havent been to the newer location since they moved it a few years back, but that place was an annual field trip at school from 1st grade through junior high and it was awesome. Anybody even remotely interested in mechanized transport of humans and c argo should definitely check it out, it’s very Oppo!

It’s a great place. Last time I was there they had a Bentley exhibit going in addition to the permanent hardware.

I’ve been several times, including a couple times when it was still located in the old Denver Tramway powerhouse (which was awesome, but unfortunately way out of the museum’s budget to properly care for).
From my last trip:
The streetcar visible in the background is the only remaining Denver City cable car, and indeed one of the only non-San Francisco cable cars existing anywhere.
