(I haven't watched NASCAR in almost seven years, but I still hate Kyle Busch. Almost as much as I still hate Brad Kese-lousy.)

Rooting against “Candy Man” is more fun than rooting against “Klye Busch ” or “the 18 ”

You inferred that I don’t like NASCAR, but I never actually said that. I like NASCAR plenty - and I can tell you a great deal about NASCAR from mid-80s to 2010.

When I said that people actually LIKE the actual Candyman, I meant precisely this: the kids in Willy Wonka and Chocolate Factory liked the Candyman, and in my day, most fans despised Kyle Busch. You asked a question, and I gave you a legitimate answer. If you don’t like the answer, how is it MY fault that you posted a public post on a public forum where public members could post their public opinion about a topic THAT THEY LIKE?

You like Kyle? That’s your prerogative . I didn’t judge you for that or even assume whether you liked him or not. I was a Carl Edwards fan when I was active, and he had his share of haters, too. As a grown man, I have enough sense to know that if I make a post about Carl Edwards in a place where there are fans, I’m going to get people who disagree with me responding...because that’s how a public forum works.

Posting in a public forum, and then drawing four lines around your feet, crossing your arms, and saying, “No, you can’t play in here, it’s only for ME!” is exactly the opposite of how a public forum works. You post a question, and get an answer. How am I supposed to know what kind of answer you want? Your question didn’t make it clear whether you favored Kyle, or hated Kyle. You could have just as easily posted a picture of Harvick from his Reese’s days and asked the same question, and I still wouldn’t know. (That would also be hilarious, because we know just how much Harvick and the Busch brothers get along.) Had you done that, I would have answered, “Probably because whenever he gets into a fistfight with another driver, Reese’s doesn’t think it’s so sweet.”

Heh...I just remembered when Kyle Busch lost his M&M’s sponsorship for a few races for wrecking someone under caution. Maybe something about those candy sponsorships just turns drivers into rolling irony machines. Then again, Dale Sr wasn’t ever sponsored by candy as far as I know...
