21.3 miles per gallon... Premium fuel... $48.57 for 13.88 gallons... OH YEAH!!!!

A cruiser would be twice the consumption, methinks.
The outback (3.6) gets about 19.7...was hoping for a little better...but it does have pep...

Allegedly, per HHFP, if I got a facelifted 100-series with VVTi and a 5 speed auto, it could be 17 on a reaaaaaally good day on the highway with zero stops and maybe some wind at the back?

Damn, the Monstero on 35's still pulls an average of 16 on 87, which is currently $2.39, so your tank of gas could buy me 20 gallons of fuel...

Too bad we never got the 3S-GE version IS200. A 4-cylinder would be better for gas mileage with all the
luxury and prestige

Well, it’s only been a week, but I logged my drives to work and back via GPS, and calculated the MPG from that. The speedometer is really close, though, also according to the GPS, so the odometer should be pretty close. it got 4.90 gears to go with the tires.

For 14 years I got 30+ mpg with my del Sol.
When that died, I bought a Civic Si . 23mpg was a painful adjustment.
After 2 years of boredom I traded that in for my Wrangler. 14mpg on a really good day.
The world is moving forward, but I’m going dramatically the wrong direction.

There's a few things I miss about my Civic. I owned it through the height of the recession, when gas was $4.50 a gallon. Didn't even feel it.

I wish they still made a wagon version of the IS, that they sold it here, and that it got the 2AR-FSE+L210 combo that they sell everywhere else.
(OK, really, I want a BEV for my next car , but I would’ve strongly considered an IS 300h SportCross if it existed when I bought my Prius...)

Yeah, the montero sport came with 4.90's, so it’s a common swap into the full size for running giant tires. OF course, that means the truck kinda hates going over 65-70....

A lot worse... ain’t new Cruisers getting 13/14 mixed now? 21 really isn’t that bad for mixed, real world driving. If it makes you feel any better I only ever got 25-26 mixed out of my Mazda. ( On a somewhat self congratulatory note , I got nearly 32 mixed out of the WRX this last tank.)

The Legacy has been getting 19mpg US, 12.4L/100km for me. Only regular gas, but it’s $1.38/L on a good day, but anywhere from there to $1.60/L in the last while.

I’ve been afraid to do a mileage test in my suburban with the 5.3. I did it before with the old 454 one I had. Got about 8mpg city/backroad and best I managed on a long trip was 12mpg.

That’s why I went with the 6.0. I knew I wouldn’t be towing all that often, so I didn’t want to pay for the 8.1 all the time. But, I sold my travel trailer about 8 months ago, and it’ll probably be another 5-7 years before I buy one again, so the Suburban makes less and less sense every day. :/

Not bad, my SHO gets 91 100%
gas, and I get around 18-20MPG. My 06 Land Cruiser I average about 15MPG just putting regular with ethanol in it, so they cost about the same to drive. Gas is also $2.09/gallon here right now, with 91 100% gas
being around $3.09/gallon.

I beat that with my F150 this weekend, 23.7 mpg , though our 87 octane in San Diego cost $3.59 per gallon.
I should also mention my F150 can do 0-60 in 5.8 seconds, seats 6 and tows over 8,000 lbs. as well. Progress right :)
