Because they are amazing.

Sure they can be a dick from time to time (can’t we all) but generally even your darkest of days can be brightened up just with their presence.

They know when we are hurt or down and comfort us , they give us so much love that it feels like a part of our world is broken when they are hurt, unwell or pass on.

For many it’s their only high p oint in the day, returning to their pet, for others it’s the highest point to a great day, returning to their pet.

They should never be taken for granted and should be tre ated to the same respect we give to our fellow Man.

“ They know when we are hurt or down and comfort us, they give us so much love...”

Let’s be clear: this is true of 80% of dogs and 20 cats.

(The lack of a percentage sign there is not a mistake.)

Ye’, I didn’t want to say anything negative about cats. Lol.

We had three cats, who were quite affectionate but had their momen ts of, ‘pet me now’, or ‘did I say I wanted petting?’ and would try and bite you.

Basically cats don’t give a rat’s ass about you.
