It’s going to donate it’s guts to an old I nternational S cout, and I approve. I remember going over to my grandparent’s house to see the brand new red truck. It was love at first sight, and really the only car I ever wanted. It came to me in 2008 is a sad state after other family members had crashed and neglected it. Over the next couple of years it morphed from a smashed red rustbucket into the custom stepside, first in satin black, then in white. It was always going back to bright red because changing the colour of a red shorty pickup is just wrong.
This is the first time it has ever been towed. I was going to drive it to the crusher, (driving to the crusher is the ultimate in reliability) but it would be wrong to scrap a low mile 22R. Glad it’s going to a funky project and not one of the guys determined to drive it. And I still have a stepside box to plant flowers in.

Sad to see it go, but sounds like it’s going to a worthy project and should live on for a long time forward!
