Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice WRT on 16” steelies. Got a good deal on them at Tire Rack. Should have ordered them earlier this week because we had our first snowfall today and the OEM Dunlop’s on my 6 were terrible.

It’s a rule: once i put the snows on in November: no snow. Until I take them off in April.

I just wintered up our cars today too. Got the last appointment available at discount tire for my wife’s pacifica. Then I mounted a brand new set of Nokian Hakkapilllttta R3s on the S8. Fuck snow.

Fun fact: Dunlop is actually a brand owned by two parent companies, and one is Goodyear.
...but the other is Sumitomo, and both brands are sold in the US (but the Sumitomo ones aren’t advertised). So, if Dunlop’s US site says a tire exists, don’t buy it, it’s a Goodyear.
