Well today’s no different, I present to you the $500 elantra with 270,600 miles smogged and ready to go.
I needed a second car so the Lexus can sit torn apart in the garage, I’d planned to save for a cheap ls400 because it’s not disposable but things changed. A coworker offered this, and the cheap ls’s are $1500 so the money saved here is going to the project fund(welder turbos, megasquirt)
Also my last 01 elantra was an absolute tank so that factored in.

I partially learned to drive stick on an ‘01 Elantra and an ‘06 Accord sedan. Always liked the look of the Elantra hatchbacks of this era!
I’ve got my faithful 2009 Hyundai Accent hatchback affectionately called ‘Humdrum’! :)

Makes it look like a spider web. Attach a plastic spider to deter thieves
