I’m a bit surprised they went with “Car on fire” instead of “Multiple p eople stabbed”. One of those things happens pretty often and only gets press if its a Tesla, while the other is certainly news. I’m guessing they wanted to go with “Attempted carbombing” and then realized that they don’t really have the evidence to support that at this point. Or maybe Melbourne’s a small enough place that everyone is wondering what that smoke is about?

I feel like these news people are all vultures who just throw up untrue information because there’s a lot more money in being timely than in being accurate.
