!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
posted an article yesterday about one of their readers acquiring a 1966 Shelby GT350H.
The car has quite obviously not moved in a while, and a resto had clearly been started but abandoned:
Hertz had around a thousand 350s built by Shelby, but only a handful had a four-speed manual, making this one a rare bird indeed.
A Hertz Rent-a-Racer in better times
The reader has been tight-lipped about the car beyond a few pics, so there’s no indication how many miles are on the car, how much he paid, or what his plans are.

that guy looking in to it and the fellow strapping it down are exactly what I would expect

Tight-lipped suggests to me that he got it for way less than it’s worth, I bet.
I don’t see rust - heck of a find, and all the more so if the drivetrain is there.

One of my favorite mustangs.
Sounds like he got it for a great price.
