I still have great respect for the man. I like the recent podcast as well as the online presence that Nico is putting out there. He’s a very likable person , plus the only person to properly beat one of the best drivers of the current generation (yes, I know Jenson outscored Hamilton in one season).

I’m not quite sure if this “maximizes” your mental performance but I do think they have a great discussion about what you can do to improve your mindset.

Rosberg is the opposite of likeable.

Button beat Hamilton by 46 points. Rosberg edged out Hamilton by 5, which was only possible because Hamilton’s engine failed while he was leading the Malaysian GP. In my eyes there’s no doubt who the better driver is. And there’s no better evidence than the fact that Rosberg did not defend his title in 2017.

I found Button to be a good driver most of the time but I found he lacked in qualifying compared to Hamilton, whereas Rosberg matched him much more closely in that regard. Button pulled together the points when it matters on the Sunday, but that relative lack of qualifying pace was always noticeable to me.

I don’t think Button is as great as some say he is, but he’s certainly not a bad driver.

As far as Rosberg being the opposite of likeable... well I can’t really argue how you feel about him.
