Seems like there are a ton of new cars around here, and a fair number of new faces as well! So... Whaddaya got Oppo?
I’ve got the unkillable 300,000+ mile Miata that’s a mish-mash of track, autox, rallyx, and luxury parts to make one wierd boi. I’ve poured my heart and soul into the build, and yet somehow we’re still slower than a 90's Camry.
Well... In a straight line
On the other end of the spectrum is the S wede, an 850 with an 850r interior and a lot of boost, that’s cost me more in repairs than every other car over owned combined. Three weeks into ownership
Still love it tho. Comfy daily, and one hell of a sleeper.
Okay, you're up!

The Mazda has been a solid kid hauler and the Ferd has only let me down once. Not the most exciting lineup but it gets the job done.

2000 BMW 323 convertible; 2005 Nissan Pathfinder (anyone want it? It’s just in the way) ; 2014 Mercedes E550. The first two have been mine since before Oppo existed, bought the Mercedes in May.
All 3 have been great cars/truck, but I feel like I’ve owned the first two long enough.

Significant recent changes for me. Sold my faithful purple ‘94 F150, beater E36, lifelong ‘68 2002 project, a horde of old Audi parts, and soon my ‘82 Vanagon project (an emotional attachment...) and old daily ‘01 Outback. I’ve gained a free ‘94 Audi Ur-S4 (not running) and free ‘96 Nissan pickup daily (runs like a top, but painted with a brush), and the reason for all of this, a scruffy ‘82 911SC with a good story, which has long been my particular favorite 911 out of all I’ve ever worked on, since 1996. Simplify and add Porsche, as it were. More on that car soon. So now I have “just” the Porsche, family heirloom Lancia, Nissan, and Audi. Plus wifey’s ‘05 Sienna.

2005 Outback XT manual with an exhaust and tune and some other bolt ons , 1978 KZ750 twin and a couple of Vespa mopeds
I guess technically I own a 2012 Hyundai Tucson too since it i s in my name, but it’s my wife’s car and it s whole point is to be boring and not something I need to think about often.
Time will tell if I can make it happen but next year I want to get either a cheap second car to DD and make the XT a fun car, or a cheap enduro to commute with whenever possible. 20mpg for the XT and 30 for the KZ isn’t exactly amazing.
Your Miata has long been my favorite of the ones on here btw

HAVE I MENTIONED LATELY THAT I HAVE A E90, THE DARLING SWEETHEART OF ALL LOOKING FOR A SPORT LUXURY BARGAIN ? because I do and it’s great her name is Fiona we’ve been together for nearly 10 months now.
and then there’s my 84 Rabbit Cabriolet. her name is Veronica, I love this car to death, but its currently not running due to electrical issues and my ineptitude. It’s going into the garage for the winter tonight and will hopefully triumphantly roar out of it next March...or May...
I had to dig back 5 and a half months to find the post this pic was originally from. the last time it drove was 9/29/18...

Just a Taurus SHO (2010). It’s got a tune and it’s waiting for me to put downpipes on it. But then as some of you may have seen in my other thread, I’m toying with the idea of a 2006 - 11 Audi S6.
I really dig the interior of your Volvo! The display looks nicely integrated. Upon looking at your thread and reading your complaints, I suppose I take that back slightly. It doesn’t look quite as clean close-up. I wish those units would be nothing more than a screen, no buttons, no lights, no logo. Just a screen. Cause I’d like to ahve that to just run android auto.

My adventure-mobiles. Looking forward to putting a roof rack on the Subaru soon and taking it on a true winter road trip. And hopefully I will make a trip to Mammoth in like May with the Miata. Showing up top down to a ski mountain is always the best! Neither car is good on the highway, both get crap mileage, and both have heavy steering and stiff suspensions. But I wouldnt have it any other way becauseracecar.

Okay, I have questions. I love all MR2's, but the 3rd gen is the one I could imagine buying the most, at least as long as I have my Miata. How do you like it? Reliability? Is it a genuine sports car?

Occasionally I squeeze myself into my 94 Miata with the 1.8L engine and a 5 speed manual, because there’s no replacement for displacement.
