There is an Avro Orenda Mark 10 turbine engine

Clearly someone here on Oppo needs to buy one of these and !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
And you get all that thrust for a starting bid of only CAD$5500.

If you weld a cage/platform so the turbine can sit on top, it should fit.
It will look like crap and it might be
a little noisy
, BUT... 6500 pounds of thrust!!!

Convertibles are all about experiencing all that noise though. It’s perfect!
The car weighs 1500 lbs without the engine, less than 1/4 of the thrust output. Will it be quick enough to merge onto the freeway?

And then there’s the small matter of the exhaust melting the back of the car...

In, or on top? Just mount it on the roof rack...
