Weather getting colder and talk of snow this week/weekend, I decided it was time to get my free winter setup installed ( Dad found them with a free sign on side of road, 75% tread on 5x100 wheels ) .

So I went out in the rain last night and got my winter wheels and tires mounted on the car.

I’ve gotta get some snows on our cars - I’m 0-for-2, the Volvo doesn’t get snows. But no joke, I was deterred by the rain. That’s ambiti ous.

It’s supposed to rain all week until Thursday , at which it’s supposed to get cold and snow. Rather do it in a little rain than 30* and snow.

Lovely WI weather.

I checked it last night when I was debating doing it in the rain or not and it said rain all week changing to snow by Thursday.......

And now I look today and it’s supposed to be clear til late next week, oh well, too late now.

Ya usually. Planning doing something around here usually goes like: Wake up, look outside, not raining/snowing, set to work. Likely it’ll change before the days over anyway.

I don’t know how many times we have risked a little rain while on our boat and then had the lake to ourselves on a beautiful sunny day since the rain never materialized or hit elsewhere.

I rotate my tires every time I drive........

Likely why I haven’t had a set of tires last long enough to need rotating......
