Technical Foul. This is not your average Malibu.

This is an eighth gen, most likely equipped with the LTG. (There is zero chance an LCV or LKW survived even this long.) The LTG is only a “utility” engine in the sense that GM put it in fucking everything .

Also, fifty demerits for liking something that makes a car handle worse and is also significantly l ess safe in every objective measure.

I’m good with the lowering, though it makes me cringe because I’m reminded of Fast’n’Loud’s mantra about ‘lowering the altitude to raise the atitude. ’ I’d really rather my crappy sideshow entertainment doesn’t give usable advice.

I’m not a fan of the wheels and camber though, so I guess I’m not in mortal peril yet.

I’ve seen stanced 8th-gens before, and I think they take to them well.

In fact, I really like the look of the 8th-gen Malibu. I sincerely wish they weren’t utter shit, because I really feel like GM nailed the look.
