When I sold my little 696 Monster, my head told me it was the logical, economical thing to do. Although reliable, the maintenance costs were high compared to other bikes I’ve owned, and it is a miracle that I didn’t get a ticket, jail time, or killed on it.

Yet, I miss it.

That being said, although I have no business owning a V4 Ducati... I r-e-a-l-l-y want that bike... :-D

yea...but this is basicly a race bike with headlihgts. go buy me a race car with headlights for anywhere near this price.

You posted the wrong one. The Ducati sounds like a Harley and will roast your balls because of the design.

The RS V4 is getting an updated 1100 cc engine this year.... Even the winglets are better on it!

And 80% of them will be sealed in a mylar bubble as a trophy collectible. Real racers will buy/build racing bikes, this is out of price and ability range for most pretend racers. A handful given to the sons of embezzlers/dirty money royalty  in less developed areas may see road time before the inevitable.

But speaking of SICK — Was visiting the boulder motor sports friday afternoon- they’re ducati speed shop here in town.. They had just gotten back from testing the new Pierbon x85r frame they had built up..... FUCKING amazing...
