What does Oppo think, bad wheel bearing? Dragging brake pad?

Sounds like brakes from that, but impossible to tell, push the caliper piston back so the pads don’t touch or take it off temporarily to test spin for noise. A bearing will also mostly change noise depending on load, so loud turning to 1 side, quieter to the other.

It could just be the disc shield catching the disc, have you knowingly run over anything? Check it for clearance and if it's touching just bend it back out. If not it's most likely pads touching the disc if it's not rumbling while you're driving.

If it’s a bad bearing, it should have some give. A little wiggle. When you have the tire off the hub, wiggle the assembly and see if it moves at all up and down. If it does, the bearing is shot.
