They’re really itching to break into the actual professional mechanic tool market. Can’t wait to see this stuff show up in the stores. I don’t mind paying more than Pittsburgh or Pittsburgh Pro money, IF
the quality is there. Supposedly all Taiwan-made.

This should be interesting. With the death of Craftsman, there really hasn’t been a lower priced decent quality brand to fill the void. I’ve been impressed with HF’s incremental moves towards quality.

Yeah, if they can provide say, 75
% of Snap-On quality at 25% of the cost, I think they’ve got a winning combination.

Those look like some people blatant rip offs of snap designs. But if the quality is there, I’m not going to complain. A lot of my snap on stuff has been breaking lately and their prices are getting worse and worse all the time.

Teng Tools is pretty good too from what I've been told... Not sold here though.

Craftsman ain’t dead—they will be carried by Lowes. And for a really nice box for very little money, check out Home Depot. (Seems strange saying that-yes.) I bought this Husky box for only $800! https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-Industrial-52-in-W-x-21-7-in-D-15-Drawer-Tool-Chest-and-Cabinet-Combo-in-Textured-Black-H52CH6TR9HD/302962883 You can’t touch anything realistic for that money.

Craftsman was bought by Stanley and it's all made in China junk now.

It was bought by Stanley but they are actually now moving to US assembly as opposed to the cheap crap Sears was pushing.

I wonder if that Daytona jack was just testing the waters to see if it was worth doing a whole line of pro-grade tools. HF initially got into some trouble with Snap-On over that jack , but they were reporte d to have reached a confidential settlement that didn’t involve HF having to pay Snap-On a dime.
