I am kind of excited about the new 2020 Bronco.
It’s the first new pre-production vehicle I’ve actually been sort of excited about in a while. Maybe it’s the post-lunch coffee?
Any on e else interested in the the Bronco, or any other soon-to-be-released vehicle?

if this is what it looks like then i’m not going to be excited:
that just looks like an Edge and a Highlander got together.

I’m more excited for this, mostly because my Dad is planing on trading in his 2015 Ram 1500 for it. He doesn’t need a big truck, and doesn’t want a Tacoma, or a Colorado .

I am too. I’m currently in a F150 and I could see going down a size with this. Still having towing capability and the function of a bed.

i;d be more interested myself if they would make a 2 door, but we know that ain’ t gonna happen.
i wonder if it will be able to handle a small plow, i know the old Wrangler’s could and the JLU’s longer wheelbase would help with that and being a straight axle it should be able to handle the weight.

and since the production 2019 Ranger looks like this...well dont get your hopes up. the boxy retro SUV we want wont happen.

Yeah I doubt a two door would ever be in the works. They’re directly going after the Taco and Canyonero crowd. Oh I’m sure it could.

Every time I see an old Jeep with a plow on it I die a little inside. Saw one on a Rubihara, not exactly a classic Jeep but still a special limited edition unicorn of a Wrangler.
In this case, I’ll be long dead before these new trucks are classic enough for me to care about, so goferit.

I understand that. It’s an offroad vehicle cant go off road much with a plow. but you can make a road with one.
but now we’re talking about it as a truck. for me when I get to a point where a truck is a necessity (the only reason I’ll ever own one) I’ll also need to to plow, because I’ll be living in a house tucked in the woods with a long driveway. hopefully.

I have a long snowy (at times) driveway but that’s why I own a Jeep.
It’s not the off-road aspect that kills me, it’s the strain a plow puts on the dash, and the frame, and...

Im still waiting to test drive the new Ranger. It keeps getting delayed.

Agreed - that’s a big “ no” for me.
There have been some great fan Photoshop jobs, and I’m hoping it will turn out more like those (boxy, slightly retro).

Well, I’m holding out hope. They did it right with the fifth generation Mustang back in 2005.

Can’t argue with that. Good looking truck.

I’m exited but cautiously. We’ll see what it actually looks and performs like.

Cautiously pessimistic. Seems to be my normal state of being these days.
