Width bothers me less than belt line raising. Especially since the width is mostly just in the wheel track; which I have to imagine keeps the heavy rear in check. Belt line makes the whole car feel bigger than it is in my experience. And yes, I know, safety.

Technically that exists already... the 718 Cayman. 9 12 was a stopgap until the 914 was available, so lineage wise that is a Cayman.

Eh.....912 to 914....totally different config. 912 was a stop gap after the 356 but what they found was a better handling car without so much weight behind it. I sing for a return to that. A unbloated 911
