“Le Gendarme de Saint-Tropez” 1964
Le Gendarme et les Gendarmettes, 1982
Thanks to @MultiplaOrgasms pointing out what should’ve been the bleedin’ obvious to me. Many 70s and early 80s cars. I was watching the 2CV. Doh.

Somethings wrong. That 2CV is not leaning nearly enough.

I did not remember that, no.
Too bad they decided to go with the comedy falling apart thing, rather than just a 2CV being as ridiculous as it is.
Also I’m a little bummed the stunt driver is very clearly a dude (or a very burly woman).

Fake news. A 2CV couldn’t possibly go that fast unless it was dropped from a plane.

Just noticed them... didn’t look for out of context cars.. just enjoyed the 2cv stupidity... they all stick out now. Doh... which leads me to wonder what film this is. There’s a scary 2CV driving nun in some of the other films but I’m replying on excerpts on youtube. Time for some investigation. Go Go Google Translate! (I’ll amend the original post too - thanks!)
