Firsttime the momma has had twins, and she always seems to like boys better, so her twin brother got all the attention. She’s going back out to the 5 degree cold soon, but first a little dry-off and warm-up.

Well, her first clip should come at about 6 months age, which will be about the time we know for sure if we’re keeping her or shipping her off to become tasty... We’re growing the flock, so we’re planning to keep ewes (her brother will become food), but only if they appear to be of quality build and attitude. More like this though, exactly what we want: twins, one male to slaughter/sell, one female to keep and help grow the flock.
