A few weeks ago I was down at the beach near where I live after work for a swim and noticed a few old American cars rumble past. As I went to leave another string of cars cruised along so I followed for a few hundred metres and came across this.

New Zealand has a pretty big American car culture !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! in the past. This was particularly impressive given it was an after work meetup on a weekday.

Unfortunately I only had my phone on me and not my proper camera so excuse the picture quality, but enjoy some American tin sitting beachside in suburban Auckland, New Zealand.

Not sure if I like the ‘62 Thunderbird partly de-chromed or not. Elegant, though, as is the ‘60 Imperial.
