Ordered one of these bad boys (Thrustmaster TMX) yesterday. Finally not going to be using a wheel from 2000 (Logitech Wingman Formula Force GP) for driving video game purposes.

I wish these things weren’t so expensive. I love playing some Grand Turismo every once in a while but playing with a controller always sucks.

Yeah, wheel prices are insane. The TMX is probably the cheapest wheel with acceptable in 2018 features from a reputable manufacturer, and even then it’s still $260 Canuckbucks. And you don’t even get a gearstick or a clutch pedal. Anything cheaper (new) though and you’re relegated to like 200 degrees of wheel rotation and no force feedaback. Shame, really.

That’s a name I hadn’t heard in a while ... I had a (refurb) Logitech Wingman Formula (non-Force) GP waay back when.

Have you accepted our lord in savior in video game form into your home?
(It was also made by Canadians)

Joystick, pedals, and yokes for flightsims are expensive. My whole yoke and pedal set up is $200 and now I need a joystick with throttle for DCS A-10C sim.
