It was 70* today. I can’t wait to officially be past the days where “snow is a possibility” so I can throw the summer tires back on. I had to mount the snows a few days after buying it, with only 98 miles on the clock. I’m now sitting at 650ish.

I’ve been caught out in the past, throwing the summers back on my former FiST in January thinking the chance of snow was over, only for it to snow a few days later and forcing me to swap tires again. Which really sucks, because my tires are stored in my basement because I was dumb enough to buy a house without a garage (I haz carport).

Move farther north where we know for yer you’ll need snows November to April. May wildcard tho

Looks like nice weather to me. No snow.

We just got through a few weeks of a brutal cold snap starting around Christmas. A bunch of days of -40.

Now it’s really warm, right around the freezing point. So everything is a mess.

I’d prefer few degrees below freezing if it’d keep the roads cleaner.

That’s the problem - we can still get snow in February, so they’re on until we consistently get 50*+

I got my ND in the fall and had a couple good months of top down fun. Itching for some more, but it only got to 45 today in detroit.

Have 22k miles on mine now (had 12k when I got it).

what part of the midwest are you in? In Chicago area highest it got to was 48 and super foggy/misty all day

I love it, but yeah, dying to get the summers on. The winter tires aren’t as confidence inspiring with the soft treads. And with the summers for the few days I had them on, it was so cold they didn’t grip much.
