2300 lb car on studs laughs in the face of your axle deep unplowed parking lot (with ice under the fresh stuff). Parked for a full 10 hour workday and she pulled right out. Every other car in the lot was a big awd crossover that probably gets half the mileage I do.

My old Accent with Blizzaks was awesome in the snow. Small, light, and snow tires with FWD beats large, heavy, and all seasons with AWD.

Best vehicle I’ve had in the snow was my xc70, with snow tires. That thing was unstoppable.
Regardless, it’s amazing the difference tires make for any situation. Just like summer performance tires are awesome, snow tires are awesome too.

Exactly! And then when you get back to clear roads it’s just a normal cheap to run, easy to park, fun to drive little car.

The front lip was definetly a couple inches under the snow
