When 96 hp was potent. I can confirm my 1978 510 was one of the best cars in the snow I have ever had.

10-4. My (at least 8 different) 510's were crazy awesome in the snow. They were so fun to go out playing in the snow-and if you wanted to not spin the tires, a bare chevy block would fit in the trunk-you could plow with the thing!

96hp is pretty decent, when the car only weighs CA. 2000 lbs.
