Buy cases for your nice shit, and use them.

These were in hard cases under our bed, one of the few things that received 0 smoke damage

And this poor bugger was hanging on the wall where most of the action happened.

PRS is one of the few companies that might actually take on the challenge of restoring that. I’d call their tech center and/or customer support and see what they can do. My SG lives in a hard case, but Telecaster hangs on the wall. It’s just so convenient to be able to grab it whenever I feel like playing.

I just helped move a big Roland keyboard for somebody. I asked if she had a case for it, and she said that the case was destroyed in a fire that razed their home, but the piano survived.

If it were a “regular” model maybe, but it’s an SE. I suppose it would still be worth a try if it hadn’t already been tossed.

Ah OK. I figured from the hashtag that it was a standard Custom 24 thinking it was a $3k guitar. SE’s are still nice but it would be stretch to save it I think. Hard to see the difference through the damage.

They’re fantastic for the price, but yeah. No $600 guitar would be worth the work needed.

That smoke smell will likely never come out. I could possibly paint over it for the body, but the neck is definitely fucked. I don’t have the skill to get it back to the level of playability it was at, and paying someone else for it would probably end up costing as much as a replacement.
