James Love has taken far too many hits of the Good Kush and turned his XJ-S into a dually tow rig with a Jules Verne aesthetic with a matching camper made from a Lear 25. I have concerns.

It just reminds me of the music video for “I’m on a boat”

I wanna fire up those jet engines but I don’t think there’s any fuel tanks for it now...

Awful taste but great execution nope awful everything. Kill it with fire.

But what a glorious way to spend your last 3 seconds of life if you could.

I’m not sure anything currently on the market or the street could inspire this.

What motor is inside the Jag?

The whole rig would make a lot more sense without those engines hanging off of it.
And airplanes make terrible houses/trailers - it’s designed as a pressure vessel, not to use the space wisely.

I kinda like it. It’s silly( but not pointless) and over-the-top in a DGAF sorta way.
Whimsy! The world needs more whimsy.
[I fully understand that this view is prob not popular. I just don’t give a fig ]

Whatever it is, I bet a good-sized Roots supercharger is strapped to it: look at the overkill size of that hood apendage

Refreshed stock 5.3 V12 with an upgraded 700R4 transmission in place of the OEM TH400.
Because that’s what you want on a tow rig.
An overdrive.

Impressive for the engine but isn’t the 700R4 not the stoutest of GM’s transmissions?

Especially in a business jet where the window is at your shoulder level.

If a carrier really cared about me, they’d build a padded pillow into the wall right above that.

That would be excellent. I love window seats for 2 reasons - to look out the window when I’m awake, and to lean on when I’m asleep.

I’ve recently discovered a problem with that. My wife loaned me her Bose noise canceling headphones, and they’re great for taming the engine noise—no I mean truly great, seriously—UNLESS you lean your head in the customary way. Then, you get all the vibration that MD-80 goodness brings you right into those expensive cans. So, I can listen or sleep, but not both. First world problems, I know, but still damned annoying.
Also, I still drop everything to watch out the window during takeoff and landing. That never gets old.

The colors match but I wouldn’t call them ‘matching’.

They’re both a similar aesthetic.

Yeah I am confused.

Essentially a non-electronic 4l60. Later ones fixed the input shaft issues and had the same shaft as the TH400. 700R4 also has a lower first gear which helps getting started with a heavy load. I’m wanting to put a 700R4 in my Jag due to having a lower first gear, an overdrive, and fewer drivetrain losses than the TH350/400. I think his car is an HE so the V12 is only making something like 300hp and 330ft*lb.
