But I think the 2008 looks better and would probably get one instead (if I had the money).

Yeah, I concur.

If I was gonna have a 2018, I’d just want a manual GT with the cue ball shift knob, and the Bullitt colour. I wouldn’t want the gimmicky stuff. Really I just want a clone of the original one.

The green is really what does it for me. The logo delete on the front is excellent too. But you and I both know the new one is going to be absurdly expensive.

I don’t like the Bullitt branding on the new car. I don’t recall the 2008 having Bullitt badges on it, but my memory is a bit hazy and I’m feeling lazy with the gooogles
Frank Bullitt didn’t drive a Bullitt Mustang. He drove a green GT fastback with mags and a black grill. The car was unremarkable. The story (ok, the chase) was.
So, I guess My asshole agrees with your asshole.

I think the convertible of that gen is one of the finest looking Mustangs.

Buy a 2008.
Install supercharger and Watts link.
Enjoy.

IMO, that generation has not aged well. I’d rather have the new Bullitt.

I completely agree. It shouldn’t have had Bullitt badges.
