So I have been married six and a half years. I never bought my wife a proper engagement ring. I haven’t been able to replace her $30 Amazon wedding ring because she hasn’t wanted me to spend the money. Tonight we saw a pair of rings that she loved. So I spent money on them.
It was nice to be able to spend the money since we have so often been broke. Plus, they were on sale so we didn’t have to break the bank.

Good job. I’m sure she appreciates it.

That’s cool! I’m glad for you. I can’t wait until we can afford to replace our cheap Amazon rings. Though I’ll probably still wear my cheap one, because I’m prone to losing/breaking them.

My wife’s engagement ring was a super cheapo because I was broke. I finally replaced it many years later. Congrats.

My wife and I have $10 Amazon wedding rings. They’re great. Even if I were a billionaire, I would see no reason to upgrade.

She had asked about a new ring last fall because she’s lost about 70 pounds since we got married and her old ring kept falling off in the shower. Last night I just thought, “we have the money. Let’s just go for it.”

My current wedding ring is a $27 Titanium amazon deal.
I thought I lost it shortly after we got married ( 2 1/2 years), so I bought 2 more, and then found the original.
My wife’s ring has a tiny stone - it was like $425 or something, she picked it out. but now people make her feel bad about it, and her mom wants me to upsize. I told her if she likes it, who cares what someone else thinks.
