Wit bonus Mexican plates. I know it’s probably garbage and not just because its French, but it’s the first French car I’ve seen in the wild since a Citroen in San Francisco 7 years ago. I’m assuming the Renault Xavier is better.

The headroom on those (at least the first gen ones) is literally unbelievable. Apart from that yes they would probably be absolute garbage to own in the US except they’re really cargo-roomy and supposedly *really* fuel-efficient. Like a Nissan Versa taken to the extreme and then squared-off.

Not sure how much a role Dacia played in its development... IIRC, Renault designed the entire car, but just used the Dacia badge, as that made more sense from a marketing standpoint.
