2nd new radiator...doesn’t fit
Its about half inch too wide everywhere. The mounting points don’t line up. Its not even it the bend and flub range.
I had a bad feeling when I saw the crusty plastic of the top tank on this brand.
I now have 3 radiators in my garage and none of them work.

Any of those a Koyo from Amazon? IMO Mr T’s parts are the way to go. I’ve purchased lots of OEM parts and I’ve yet to be disappointed. It’s always a perfect fit and all the little bits are included to boot. If you can swing the price, that is.

Can’t even tell you to give up and take it to a shop, because you did that the first time and they totally sucked.

Is there any chance that the metal tabs that bolt to the new radiators are slightly different?

oh man i would NOT being doing this on a BMW. The cruiser at least makes it relatively easy. If the first one would have gone in, I would have been happily done by now.

Its a 2nd place and they will have zero problem getting me a return. The other one is labled and ready to ship back.

I don’t know how bad it is on the newer BMW’s, but on an e46 its childs play to swap a radiator, especially if you have a manual. There are only 2 screws and all the hoses are quick disconnects. The hardest thing about it is lining up the lower tabs on the expansion tank bracket, but even that’s not super hard.
