Is that a thing people do? Because if so, it should totally be legal to light them on fire as well.

It’s legal in la. Well recording not messing with their equipment. There is a documentary on Netflix basically the real life version of that nightcrawler movie. I watched a few episodes but it just felt so weird to me. In one episode this guy shows up to a broken down car on the highway call, and he’s talking about how it’s not going to end well if they try and run across their screwed. I’m just sitting there thinking like wtf why don’t you put your flashers on and push them off the road, or why the fuck doesn’t the broken down car have it’s flashers on. Then it gets fucking smashed from behind and catches on fire. The camera guy does actually get out and save the guys life, but the accident never had to happen if he wasn’t trying to get fucked up footage. Of course he wouldn’t have been there in the first place if he wasn’t trying to get fucked up footage.
