I never expected school buses to be gas powered in this day and age, but I guess it makes sense that if you’re going to have a gas powered truck, a V10 Mod motor is the right choice. I mean, Ford powered dump trucks with these things, so I’m sure they could handle 75 or 50 12 year olds piled in the back.

I’ve been debating on what engine I want to put in my 1950 F3, a V10 being one of the options. This is making my decision much easier. (In favor of the V10, with 5 speed of course)

It’s a little down on torque, but it’s probably up on hp for school buses. Up until not that long ago they were like in the 230-250/500-600 range.

Checked their website, they have up to 280hp with diesel.
