IT HAS ARRIVED! :D :D :D

Well...actually, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! finally arrived way back last Friday, but IT’S HERE! :D

SO many amazing goodies! Where do I begin? As shipping from Poland to Canadialand was vastly cheaper than shipping TO Poland, Borsuq packed more stuffz into his package than I did as most of my cost was sadly spent on shipping...

Kinja'd!!!

This is essentially what I saw when I opened the box, except with plenty cool non-edible stuff on top, plus a letter and a detailed itemized list of all the goodies! :D

So much awesome! :D

Model close-ups! They are all pretty detailed and survived the trip in perfect shape! No package of Polish goodies to RallyDarkstrike would be complete without an obligatory FIAT 126p! :D Psyched to have this little guy....it sits on my computer desk right now as a reminder I will hopefully have one of my own imported in the next few years when the time is right! :)

Kinja'd!!!

FSO Syrena 105! A DKW engine-derived, 2-stroke runabout from Poland built between 1955 all the way until 1983 - FSO produced these originally, but FSM (yay keychain!) took over and produced them from 1972 on, so my keychain is even more relevant! :D

SO MUCH FOOD! The box was something like 10lbs....I’m guessing 8 of that was the duct tape Borsuq coated the edges of the package in though....and the fact he packed the box within a second box. :P

Everything is neatly labeled with stickynotes and elastics to match up with his list and let me know what they are! Here we have some chocolate-covered plums at the back, some Polish ‘Jaffa Cake’ equivalents in the middle, and some Polish warm drinks (fruity and vanilla/chocolate/etc flavoured!) at the back. There are also some wafer chocolates - the triangle ones (his mom’s favorite! :P) and the Prince Polo bars at the bottom-right. The white/black ‘Little Cow’ candies on the right are small fudge candies and are SO good! The Ice Fresh candies are supposedly NOT minty and taste very unique - haven’t tried any of this stuff yet except one of the triangle wafer chcolates, the aforementioned fudge candies, and the chocolate plums (also delicious!) I did open the little white sweetened, condensed milk candy balls as well, and they are very nice!

More snacks! More drinks at the back, various wrapped chocolate candies in the large blue bag, plus some sesame bars (‘Chalwa’) on the right, fruit gummies with juicy filling in the center, and small fruit hard candies on thlower-right with a Commie-era ‘M&M-like’ peanut snack in the center-left...think peanuts with an M&M/Smartie candy coating on the outside! The bars at the bottom right are all chocolate! :D

Kinja'd!!!

So tasty!

Kinja'd!!!

More delicious chocolate candies over here...WW at the top-left is a KitKat equivalent, along with a huge fancy Polish wafer snack at the bottom left! More sesame snacks at the top right with ‘Curly’ peanut snacks at the very top-right (I’m told to think the consistency of Cheetos, but tasting like peanuts....they will be interesting!) Lion bars at the bottom right are similar to Mr. Big bars here in Canada. Knoppers are one of Borsuq’s favorites...a chocolate wafer snack....really good, I’ve had two of those already! :P More gummies in the middle in the red and black package - Borsuq sent me these as they are flavored like a popular fruit drink in Poland (just like Crush has candies here). The red box of Ptasie Mleczko at the top-left are chocolate-covered marshmellow-y type snacks!

Kinja'd!!!

Blurry shot - Frugo gummies....thinking I might try those soon!

Kinja'd!!!

Kamyki...the aforementioned popular-during-the-commie period (and still today!) peanut snack, plus the juice-filled Akuku gummies and Landryny hard candies!

Kinja'd!!!

Lion bars have various flavors, just like Mr. Big does here in Canada! Not the same flavours though!

Kinja'd!!!

The Pièce de Résistance! :D A commie-era-style tin, enameled mug with A FREAKIN’ TARPAN ON IT.

Still psyched about my package contents....I’ve been going very sparingly on my snacks to savor them and make them last - still so much to open! It’s cooling off and misty/foggy here tonight....maybe a pleasant try of one of those warm fruit drinks is in order! :D

Will definitely do this again at some point, and, as I still have his address - he will have to be on his guard for random packages to show up! :P

There’s a Polish shop down the road from me so the immigrants can get proper food - I’m wondering how many of those are sold there!

Take a wander on in and see....and also buy a lot of it, because the stuff I’ve tried so far is delicious....sucking on an ‘Ice Fresh’ candy right now...really unique flavor! :)
