Im trying to leanly put on muscle and this stuff hits the spot. 12g of protein and 9g of carbs; having zero fat keeps the overall calories to a cool 80. And it tastes incredible, it gives chicken breast a run for its money.

I was going to say if you were trying to lose weight, I’ve found that stress combined with depression works really well for me.

We can’t achieve True Socialism if we aren’t eating Fage.

Full fat, non-sweetened plain greek yogurt is where it’s at. Those Dannons have quite a bit of sugar or artificial sweetener.

That’s been my go-to breakfast for a while now. Not sure if it’s helping, but it keeps me full till well past lunch.

This stuff is good, and the other brands on the shelf are good, too. I go for whatever is on sale at the time.

It does the opposite for me. I become even more of a lazy food vacuum.

[Yogurt] tastes incredible, it gives chicken breast a run for its money.

Good on you for being so healthy, but after reading this I’m so depressed I can’t even sit up straight.

Nothing keeps the weight off like working impossible hours at a stressful job and subsisting on caffeine, whiskey, amphetamines, and airplane food!

Cottage cheese has become my condiment of choice since I started trying lose weight. 90 calls for 1/2 cup of unappetizing looking, but delicious cheese

I used to be a field frac engineer. That job was very stressful. Combined with the long hours it really took off the pounds. I lost like 20 lbs in January of 2016.

While it is definitely tasty, the byproducts, particularly whey, are pretty toxic and harmful to the environment since it’s been exploding in popularity faster than they can figure out how to handle them, so I try to abstain.

The name’s interesting as I know them as Danone.

Turns out that the founders of Danone moved to New York during WW2 from France, finding that the latter was no place to be Jewish at the time (no, I don’t know how they managed that. Few others did). While in the US they changed the name to Dannon as sounding less foreign to American ears. After the war they went back to France and later sold out the Dannon side of things, later still buying it back again.

I buy the big containers of Fage yoghurt and bags of frozen fruit at Costco and make a bunch of parfaits in little mason jars. Works great.

I prefer non fat since I eat it in the am and the fat is too rich for my stomach that early. But either is a better option then the flavored crap. Theres also significantly more protein in the plain stuff. 22g per serving iirc

Greek yogurt has a distinctive foot smell that I can’t get over. I can’t even be in the same room as someone who is eating it.

Since having a stroke a month ago I have had to start eating healthier and taking in more protein among other things. I grabbed a 4 pack of those a couple weeks ago and was really impressed with how good they were. The key lime pie is ok, the tiramisu is good and so is the pumpkin pie. The strawberry cheesecake is my favorite of the group though.
