No, this is not me...
Autocross yesterday in San Antonio with the San Antonio Sports Car Association (SASCA). The day was pretty good, with a nice attendance and an interesting course. The only real challenge on this week’s course was the final left into the finish lights. It had everyone off balance and caused a lot of slides/spins through the finish often taking out cones and causing DNF. My fastest run of the day ended up as a DNF because I took out a cone after the finish.
Turnout was good for the day, including a lightning blue 2017 GT Mustang. Our cars were nearly twins. It was a two driver car, and I was faster than one, but not faster than the other...
Next Autocross Outings - 1 Oct at COTA with Spokes Austin then 14 Oct with SASCA...

I missed coming out to watch this month - ended up at work yesterday. Y’all get any of the rain up there? It poured out in NW San Antonio. Hopefully I’ll be out there playing with my camera again in October.

Didn’t see any rain for the day, though we had nice cloud cover most of the morning.

I keep forgetting this is a thing here in SA. How open is it to new people?

Oh, very open to new folks. There’s a Novice group at every event and the more experienced autocrossers are glad to provide tips and ride alongs. Non member participation is only $25 and the netx SA event is on the 14th.
