No it’s legit harder than the originals. I’ve been messing with it for weeks now and still don’t feel like I’m all that good at it. On the plus side lots of replay value for $20.

You can’t remember anything because the stages aren’t the same as they were in the old days. They are much more complicated.

The only thing I remember about Sonic games is how frustrating they were - I was, and still am garbage at Sonic games.

Depends on what game and who the level designers are though.
Mania is a hard one, but some of the later classic games are more fair.

Thankfully, the huge levels flow smoothly though, so they just give you more alternate paths and secrets when you replay them.
