It’s funny, but trades on a HUGE misconception about Snow. To wit - he actually was everything that Vanilla Ice pretended to be and more. He grew up with Jamaicans, was discovered by a (black) reggae DJ, was introduced to DJ Shan (who was already successful), who liked his work, and got him issued on Motorjam/Elektra.
Then, Shan and Marvin Prince were the ones to get the recording air time while Snow was - get this - in prison for an attempted murder charge.
Snow is more genuine as a reggae performer than I’m sure is actually physically possible for a white Canadian to be.
