5 speed. My Sisters GS300 is at about the same around 70. My LS is usually at 2300.

So this is like me when I got my Riviera. My wife is someone who takes out the manual of a new car and reads about all the functions. Not me. I was still finding out cool things my Buick could do months after I got it, and I’d giggle every time.

I consider cruise control to be the second most important feature on a car, after air conditioning.

Lexus has a history of making the best clusters ever. I never thought about t before but the IS300s is amazing, the LS400 was innovative, the LFA is amazing and that’s trickled down to a lot of the new Lexi

I don’t think I could function without cruise. I use it all the time. keeps me from an attempt at speeding.

After a month, you just noticed the classic Toyota stalk on the right? :)

Straight six is geared for torque in those.

Cruise control is one of those things you don’t need but once you have it you will never want to buy another car without it.

Identical to the stalk in my wife’s 6-years-younger not-a-Corolla.

I’m still working a car without either, although it had both from the factory. And maybe now that I replaced my wonky speedometer cable my cruise control will work.

The 4runner is the V6. Had a bit taller gearing.

I have a shit ton of crickets and grasshoppers so she always kills those and anything that flys in front of her. But I protect the spiders because we’re Bros.

My first car (and now the racecar), being an RS model Integra, didn’t have cruise control. It was the only thing we really disliked about the car, and it made driving it long distances really tiring after about 100 miles. You could shove a towel or jacket under your right leg to change the position some and make it a bit better, but after awhile you still ended up switching to intermittently using your left leg after your right one fell asleep.

I think you may have replied initially to the wrong person when you said “Straight six in those is geared for torque”

What about heated seats?
I never had heated seats before my pathfinder SL, but in winter with leather seats it’s almost a must have. My pathfinder was the car of many firsts for me. First push button start, auto climate, satellite, gps, electric lift gate.....
But my favorite feature is, heated steering wheel. I hated driving with gloves in winter(cold northern Quebec winters)

Two blank buttons where they would be. If you got all leather, you could get heated seats. Mine are leather bolsters with suede buns.

My other cars had very limited options since auto makers only made manuals in basic trim, except for cruise control and electric mirrors and A/C

Nothing more important than A.C. although I consider power mirrors highly underrated

My first car with working A/C was on my 2003 protege5 that I bought new( first new car)
I started driving in 1995. After many black cars with no a/c I bought new to chose a colour other than black, and with a/c

The subtle gunmetal ring with spokes around the speedometer is the best touch.

cruise control is fantastic, more so when you cruise past a stationary cop car.
