...which do you pick?
(this was a question I asked to OpposResidentToyotaGuy in a thread earlier but I thought you’d all find it fun too)
Z/28 Camaro in that classic Sunoco livery
Boss 302 in Grabber Yellow
Sam Posey’s Challenger
AMC Javelin (*cough* this is the right answer *cough*)
Mercury Cougar (the classiest pony car)
CUDA
Or if you must have more options, DD, Track, Rally.
Go!

This is a really hard choice for me. Cuda or Javelin. I think I have to go Javelin.

Bud Moore Boss 302. I don’t care if it’s the Parnelli Jones or George Follmer car.

I think Grabber Yellow is the most iconic color, but I’d rather have the red Folmer car.

Idk how but the Cuda just sticks to me, and I couldn’t rock a Cougar tbh, I don’t wanna have to look “Fonzie” enough to step out of one in public.
But yeah, dat jav...

‘Cuda, because Hot Wheels sponsorship is amazing. Runner up would be the ‘71 AMX.

It’s one of my all time favorite liveries, plus the cross ram DZ302 is a monster at RPM.

Boss 302 for me. A tribute Gurney would be cool, I could mod mine accordingly....nah.
I do at last have the cool HW version.

It just now occurred to me: half of the cars in these photos look like they have RS Watanabe wheels. Is there a similar style made that’s popular with the muscle car/racing crowd of this era? Or do I just need to get out more?

Those are Minilites, they were one of the first mass produced magnesium racing wheels in the 60's.
