First time I have ever taken decent photos of this car in my 11 years of ownership. It’s a 1980 Firebird Espirit with a swapped in 400 big block Pontiac motor. I need to get this thing driveable again.
Not vinyl, that big ass screaming chicken is painted on there.
My car came with a name. It’s all painted on.
Yup, painted.

Man there’s such good stuff on Oppo today. This is easily in the top ten cars I’ve seen on Oppo (actually owned by an Oppo, I should say)

It’s kinda close I guess. I need to replace almost every steering component (upper/lower balljoints, tie rods, idler, etc...). That was not the main reason I took it off the road. The heater core sprung a leak, so I bought a new one to replace it and found out that whoever put the 400 in there did not do it gingerly. They smashed up the HVAC plastic pretty bad. At the time this happened I decided that I should buy a Vintage Air system for this car since it is an A/C car. I have now decided I am going to fix the steering and just repair the plastic because I am way more confident in my skills to broken plastic HVAC parts even if it’s a temporary fix. I have other cars to repair first but I will be hopefully driving this next year again.
