I recently had to order some specialty fasteners, no big deal, the price was good, shipping was free, and they came from a neighboring state how long could it take? USPS got the package within 100 miles of my house, then routed it to hurricane country, a mere 1,651 miles away.

I’m guessing some other package has come alive and decided to take your package hostage and hold it for ransom. USPS tends to keep it secret when that happens.

My package also went from Kentucky to Florida to Utah. Its best not to question

I’m just seeing that city in Florida named “Opa-locka” and going to presume that you have an archmemesis here on Oppo who really does not want you to have your fasteners and would go through a lot of effort to prevent it (like create a ridiculous - though eerily suspicious - named city in the craziest state in the country which also happens to be 6 feet underwater at this moment)...

I haven’t ruled out the possibility that they might decide to send my package on an international sight seeing trip. A journey through Australia Post is still a possibility.

I wonder if they might’ve had a recent system meltdown. I sold some car parts via a Facebook group and dropped them in the mail to someone in Virginia. I live in NC, so shipping estimate was two days. I sent him the details.

A couple days later, I look up the tracking number and see that USPS sent the part from NC to fucking Nevada, then it made its way back to Virginia. What the hell??

No joke. I ordered something from ebay shipping from TX to AZ. It went to GUAM! GUAM, then Hawaii, then about 2 weeks later finally made it’s way back to AZ.
