Took Electricity in high school, got a pretty good grade. I can do basic wiring and recall Rule #1 - turn the breaker off.

I used wire nuts when I installed an old car stereo/amp in the garage. Used them for the speaker wires, power, ground, amp remote, etc..

I almost couldn’t bring myself to use them because it was a cat stereo. I felt so dirty.
