Spotted 2 days ago. I found it rather odd that anyone would be hauling 3 dilapidated news trucks. It was even more strange that one of the trucks seems to be from a fake TV station. I could find no reference to KPDL Channel 8. Definitely something up here.

It can’t be a Grand Tour thing. The station name isn’t some kind of crude joke. I would bet on some kind of movie.

Movie props perhaps.

I’m guessing movie/TV show. If those are Georgia plates, I’d guess they’re for the Netflix series Stranger Things because it’s set in the ‘80s.

That’d be my bet.

This what I was thinking. I’m clueless about stranger things, but my girlfriend is a fan.

Probably much more reasonable than something to do with GT. Wishful thinking.
Come to think of it, John Travolta was here in town a couple weeks ago shooting a movie about NASCAR’s Alabama Gang. It didn’t really occur to me that these may have been movie props.

Probably not, as there are no dirty words that would appear if the doors get opened.

Stranger Things is set in a fictional town in Indiana.

No NASCAR movie prop would be painted with a K-call sign.

It’s filmed in Georgia though, and it looks like that’s a Georgia plate on the transporter.

thats not necessarily true, judging by the vintage of those vans there would have been nascar races west of the Mississippi owing to the K-Call sign
