It’s tight but it does just about fit :) propped up precariously with various scraps of wood so i can fab up mounts.
Also, it’s amazing how swaged holes can make something go from looking bodged together to looking borderline professional...

The swaged holes give it a bit of that aircraft feel, which is suitable, as it is a Spitfire.
Looks like a nice fit. Though I hope the engine does not get anymore stuff on the front.

You’re right, very fitting :) although I doubt the workmanship is up to aircraft standards on a lot of this ;)
Thought it was worth it though even though it’s not much weight given it’s way out in front of the front axle.
Hopefully this should be it :) stock there’s a viscous fan on the crank but I’ve got an electric one luckily. There should also be juuust enough room to change the aux belt which is what I needed. Didn’t fancy taking the radiator off each time of doing that...
