4100ish lbs + realistically under 100whp + super short gearing + slow shifting automatic = 20 second 0-60.

I did this with my FJ80 once, with similar results. The leap from that to a 4th-gen 4Runner was...significant.

Going back and forth between my C63 and FJ80 was always a bit of a shock. It still is in the T4R but at least they’re from the same century.

Low brake fluid level? Could be sloshing around in reservoir.

And before you laugh at me because it’s not equipped with a level sensor... well my 21-year-old Lada has one and I don’t know what car you’ve got but I judge cars hard that are missing features the Niva’s got.

I still remember the first time I got on the freeway in the Dakota. I really should have down shifted, ‘cause it was fuckin’ dreadful. It couldn’t be bothered to accelerate, but I had no tach at the time and was still new to driving it, so I was scared to downshift.
