To me rabbits and horses are always both food or pets. I have not eaten horse yet, but I will.

Rabbit is very good.

lol, rabbit is actually really tasty. That said, I can completely understand folks having an aversion to animals they keep as pets.

Who would eat horse before rabbit?

I’m not sure it’s one before the other, just in the same grouping.

Billboard clearly designed by people that don’t eat meat.

This is news to me. They will have to make sure they eat the brains which are near 60% fat.

Just as long as it’s not all you eat. Apparently you can starve from eating too much rabbit.

I still hold that our aversion to eating any animal is due to building a bond with it. It may be a projected bond, but try tearing your daughter’s teddy bear in half and see where that gets you. We’re able to anthropomorphize all kinds of things (cars), but that doesn’t make them persons

People who want to eat more than one meal

You definitely don’t want more than one meal out of a carcass when refrigeration isn’t available.

Having grown up on a goat farm, you get a certain detachment.

I’ve literally eaten a goat that was named “Friend” (because it was that aggressively friendly) for Christmas dinner one year.

Also, rabbit tastes like chicken, but better.

That said... It’s always more efficient to eat plants than to eat the things that eat plants. If you’re having to ship the plants in, feed them to people directly!

I have yet to meet a level of hotness that could get me to give up bacon. I’d rather try to convince them to eat bacon with me.

It’s okay. Bunnies are delicious. Even I admit this.
